In short

IVEL Energy Group repairs and maintains excavators, construction machinery and operating equipment: engines, hydraulic systems, mechanical and electrical parts, on site wherever possible and in the workshop when needed. We answer within 8 hours and attend within 24–48 hours, across Italy and Europe; 24/7 for urgent breakdowns.

What it covers

From diagnosis on site to the machine running again.

On site the constraint is not how hard the fault is: it is time. Every activity here is designed to cut the hours the machine is not working, and the miles it has to travel to be repaired.

  • On-site assistance

The intervention where the machine has stopped, which is nearly always where it makes sense to do it.

  • Routine maintenance

Services, checks and scheduled replacements: on a machine working in harsh conditions they count double.

  • Extraordinary maintenance

Breakages, advanced wear and restorations that bring the machine back into working condition.

  • Fault diagnosis

Locating the cause on a machine where engine, hydraulics and electrics all work under load together.

  • Repair in the field

Where conditions allow the repair happens on site, cutting the time and cost of moving the machine.

  • Component replacement

The part brought to site when we already know what is needed: that is what shortens the stop, more than how fast the spanner turns.

What we work on

From the engine to the electrical system.

A site machine is an engine, a hydraulic system, a mechanical structure and an electrical system all working together under dust, vibration and load. Whoever covers only one of them ends up calling someone else halfway through.

How the cause is found

On site, time is the constraint,
not the fault.

The first decision on site is not how to repair it: it is whether it can be repaired here or the workshop is needed. Getting that wrong costs a day. We assess the fault, the site conditions and the parts required before setting off, so the first visit already brings the right skills and the right components.

  • Loss of hydraulic force

Pressure, flow and temperature under load. On a site machine the drop shows up in combined movements before it shows in single ones.

  • An engine that lacks power

Fuel supply, filtration, forced induction and exhaust. Before opening anything we look at what the engine breathes and what is being asked of it.

  • Play and wear in the linkages

Bushings, pins and mountings. On site play grows fast, and a worn mounting ruins the component working against it.

  • Electrical faults in harsh conditions

Dust, vibration and damp work against connectors and earths. That is where the come-and-go fault starts, not in the control units.

  • Repair here, or workshop?

It is the question that decides the day. We answer it before setting off, weighing the fault, the space available, the tooling and the parts.

Why it matters

Moving the machine costs more than the repair.

Taking an excavator to a workshop means abnormal-load transport, a day lost and a site standing still. That is why we carry out diagnosis, repairs and component replacement directly on site wherever possible, cutting the time and cost of moving the machine.

  • Fewer transfers

Every repair done on site is one transport saved.

  • Safety

Field work happens only where it can be done in safe conditions.

  • Machines that last

A machine kept up with consistently ages far more slowly.

Our process

A proven method, from the call to the report.

  1. Request

Type of machine, the symptom, and where the machine is: the location matters as much as the fault.

  2. Assessment

We read the material and assess whether a site visit is needed or we can act straight away. We answer within 8 hours.

  3. Intervention

We assign the technicians best suited to the type of fault and to the site conditions, within 24–48 hours.

  4. Report

Documentation of what was done, and the guidance not to end up in the same place again.

Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often.

  • Yes, where conditions allow: it is how the transport is avoided. If the fault needs workshop equipment we say so immediately, rather than trying and losing a day. For urgent breakdowns we are on call 24/7.

  • Yes. IVEL Energy Group is an independent, multi-brand technical company: we are not tied to any single manufacturer, for assistance or for spare parts.

  • Yes: engines, hydraulic systems, mechanical and electrical parts. On a site machine they work together, and a drop in performance can come from any of the four.

  • Yes, with planned maintenance across several machines. It is how services stop being a rolling emergency.

  • We answer a request within 8 hours and attend within 24–48 hours. For urgent breakdowns we are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Across Italy and in Europe. Our operating base is in Tirano, province of Sondrio, but interventions are not limited to the Valtellina valley: we travel to where the plant is.

  • The type of machine, the symptom and where the machine is. The location matters as much as the fault: it decides whether field work is possible and with what equipment.
