What we need
in order to open a request.
Sector, type of machine and the problem observed. Photographs, video or technical documentation help us assess before the site visit.
On a plant that is down, the phone is still the fastest way, even out of hours. For everything else the form reaches our office, and we reply within 8 hours.
From the request
to the job report.
The path is the same for all nine areas, and it exists to avoid the single biggest waste of time: arriving without knowing what you will find.
Request
Sector, type of machine and the problem observed, with photographs or documentation attached.
Assessment
We read the material and assess whether a site visit is needed or we can act straight away.
Intervention
We assign the technicians best suited to the type of fault and the type of plant.
Report
Documentation of what was done, and the guidance not to end up in the same place again.
Where we are,
and how to get through.
- Operating base

- The administration. Requests and client relations are handled directly by the I.E.G. organisation, while the technical team concentrates on carrying out the work.
Before you write.
- What is the fastest route for a plant that is down?
- The telephone. The form is meant for requests that can be documented — photographs, video, diagrams — and for planned work; for a stoppage in progress a phone call gets there sooner.
- What do you need in order to open a request?
- The sector, the type of machine and the problem observed. Photographs, video or technical documentation help us assess before the site visit, and often let us arrive with the right part already in hand.
- Where do you operate?
- Across Italy and in Europe. Our operating base is in Tirano, province of Sondrio, but the work is not limited to the Valtellina valley: we travel to where the plant is.
- Does the request reach the technicians or the office?
- The office, and it is a choice IVEL states openly: requests and client relations are handled by the organisation, while the technical team concentrates on carrying out the work.
- Can I attach photographs and video?
- Yes, up to 10 MB. It is the most useful way to describe a fault: ten seconds of video says what a page of description cannot.
- Do you have an email address?
- Yes: info@ivelenergygroup.com, for requests, quotations and documentation. For formal correspondence there is our certified email (PEC), ivelenergygroup@legalmail.it.
Describe it as it is,
we will work it out.
Describing the machine and the symptom is enough. Routing the request to the right area is our job, not the client's.
